Madison. NON-VENT case. PRN RN/BSN staff needed for 8 yo with epilepsy, developmental delays and g tube (non-mobile, non-verbal, sweet, gentle and full of fun personality). Once trained, flexible scheduling can be offered to maintain a PRN status but prefer one shift weekly for a few weeks to learn cares.
Primary Dx: Intractable epilepsy
ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR ALL CARES INCLUDING SEIZURE RECOGNITION PROVIDED! Seizure monitoring (most symptoms are subtle, but this can change on a dime), feeding, bathing, toileting, helping client complete home therapy programs for PT, OT, SLP. She loves to snuggle and play games, listen to music or read books but needs assistance with almost everything. Training shifts will be flexible (largely weekdays, 4-12 hours) with weekly commitment for at least several weeks until cares are mastered. After training, minimum 1-2 shifts/month. Nurses attend school when in session. Some night/weekend shifts may be available. Some lifting ~43 lbs is required. Far east side of Madison.
