Agreement and Terms
The terms that apply to membership, the members-only area, the job board, payments, and use of wisconsinphp.org.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using wisconsinphp.org, joining as a member, or registering for an event, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms work together with our Policies page.
About Wisconsin PHP
Wisconsin Professional Homecare Providers (PHP) is a non-profit professional organization supporting nurses in independent practice and the medically fragile clients and families they serve across Wisconsin.
Membership Terms
Membership is open to Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses as described on our Nurses page. Dues are $50 per year, are for one named individual, and are not transferable. Membership is required for certain benefits, including the members-only area, job board access, and attendance at certain events and classes. PHP may accept or decline any membership application in line with its bylaws.
Member Accounts
You are responsible for your login credentials and everything done under your account. Do not share your username or password. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend accounts to protect the site or other members.
Members-Only Content and Confidentiality
Content in the members-only area, including forms, documents, meeting minutes, newsletters, education materials, and job postings, is for current members only. Sharing of any content in the members-only area is prohibited. Downloading materials for your own professional use is permitted; redistribution is not.
Job Board Terms
The job board connects families and case managers who need in-home skilled nursing with member nurses looking for clients. Wisconsin PHP is not a staffing agency and is not the employer of any nurse. Nurses on the job board are independent providers who contract directly with clients or payers. PHP does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any posting, nurse, family, or outcome, and each party is responsible for its own screening, agreements, and decisions.
Payments Through PayPal
Online payments for membership and conference registration are processed by PayPal and may be made by credit or debit card. Registrations paid by check are not complete until the check is received. All payments must match the fees posted on this website at the time of purchase.
Refunds and Cancellations
Requests about refunds or payment corrections should be sent to PHP.Wisconsin@gmail.com. Conference specific deadlines, walk-in fees, and cut-off dates are posted on the Conference page each year and apply to all registrations.
Conference Registration
All conference registrations must be completed online. Recertification classes such as CPR and ventilator (RCS) require pre-registration and have limited seats. Day-of registration is subject to space and posted walk-in fees. PHP reserves the right to substitute speakers and adjust the agenda as needed.
Professional Responsibility
Members are independent professionals. Each member is solely responsible for maintaining an active Wisconsin nursing license in good standing, professional liability insurance, required certifications, Medicaid or ForwardHealth enrollment where applicable, EVV compliance, and following all state and federal regulations and professional standards. PHP provides education and community, not supervision of practice.
No Medical, Legal, or Financial Advice
Content on this website and at PHP events is for general information and education. It is not medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. Always use your professional judgment and consult qualified advisors for your specific situation.
Intellectual Property
The Wisconsin PHP name, logo, and website content belong to Wisconsin PHP or its licensors. You may not copy, reuse, or republish site content without written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting to access accounts or areas that are not yours, posting false or misleading information, harvesting member information, or using the site for spam or unlawful activity.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The website and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wisconsin PHP and its volunteer board are not liable for damages arising from use of this website, the job board, or reliance on site content.
Termination
PHP may suspend or end website access or membership for violation of these terms, including sharing members-only content or misuse of the job board, in line with its bylaws.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes will be handled in Wisconsin courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
